Hudghton (Greens/EFA) - The Veraldi report on the future of young farmers highlights a number of important issues which are of relevance across the EU's rural areas. The report also recognises that farming methods rooted in specific geographical areas and cultural traditions in Europe should be conserved, improved and promoted. I wholeheartedly endorse those sentiments and consider that they can be applied across the EU's workload.
