Hudghton (Greens/EFA) - I voted against the resolution on energy prices. Whilst I wholeheartedly agree that rising energy prices require affirmative political action, I reject the resolution's references to 'low carbon' energy. I reject the idea that increased nuclear energy can have a positive impact on the environment and believe that political attention should be focused on non-nuclear renewable energy sources.
