Ian Hudghton (Greens/EFA) − Nuclear energy remains an expensive and dangerous technology and various nations have opted out of nuclear in the aftermath of the Fukushima disaster. Public money should be spent on finding alternatives to nuclear and to safely dealing with radioactive waste left by misguided policies of the past. Unfortunately this is not reflected in this report, which I voted against.
