Ian Hudghton (Greens/EFA) There is a fundamental difference between the northern fisheries agreements involving Norway, Iceland and the Faeroe Islands and those involving other countries; the former essentially involve co-management between the EU and the relevant countries, whereas the latter tend to be less well balanced. The rapporteur was happy to take this fact on board and I was therefore able to support her important work in this field.
